Check whether your request fits the rules
Upvote.club's GitHub page describes support requests for public repositories, but explicitly says requests must not promote products or services. It also describes participation as voluntary, without guaranteed completion. Read those conditions before submitting a project: a public repository URL alone does not establish that your intended request fits the service's rules.
Cross-platform tasks or a GitHub exchange
Upvote.club offers Apple or Google signup, a cross-platform points and tasks system, and an API. GithubStarMate uses a connected GitHub account for reciprocal repository participation. Consider whether your routine involves several platforms or primarily GitHub. An API listing is also a separate consideration from whether the available participation workflow meets your repository's needs.
Decide how many repositories need attention
GithubStarMate includes one active repository seat, with additional active seats available as paid extras. Start with free reciprocal exchange if you want to explore participation before purchasing anything. For several projects, count the repositories that need to be active together; extra seats provide capacity and are separate from the credits that fund completed promotion actions.
Separate participation from a promotion budget
GithubStarMate's one-time promotion credits do not expire. Each completed Star, Watch, or Fork uses one credit, so a mixed-action budget does not translate into the same number of Stars. Membership is a separate offering for automatic reciprocity and priority. Decide whether you need ongoing participation features, funded actions, or both before selecting a purchase.
